Applications to Volunteer in 2019 will open early july!

Please keep an eye on the Hopkins Creek 2019 Facebook event for updates on when applications will open. It’s all hands on deck again come November and we need plenty of reliable help throughout the duration of Hopkins Creek for our Fourth year running. Please read the position description below before submitting an application to work.

Event Volunteers

as an event volunteer at Hopkins Creek, you will be required to work a minimum of 6 hours in exchange for your free ticket. Most of the positions will be 2 successive 3-hour shifts on a variety of different jobs. The shifts you may be allocated to span across the festival site, and include (but are not restricted to) helping out with traffic, keeping our site free of rubbish and looking out for all the mates around the site.


Things to note before applying

  • You must be 18+ years of age to volunteer

  • applications open Early July

  • volunteer offers will expire 7 days after being sent out, don’t forget to confirm!

  • we will look after you all during your shift, but please come prepared!

  • Signing in and out of your shift is what will guarantee you get your deposit back, this is extremely important.

  • we will endeavour to put you on shift with your requested buddy but cannot guarantee we will be able to make everyone’s times work.

  • Once an offer has been accepted if the holder pulls out of their position within 21 days of the event you will be charged a cancellation fee of $300

  • Failure to complete your shifts at the event will also result in a no-show fee of $300
